Instructions for Chinese Passport Renewal

STEP 1 - Make Sure You Are Qualified to Utilize VisaRite Services!

Is the applicant over 65 years old?

Does the applicant has a valid US Green Card?

You have the Chinese Passport, not Hong Kong SAR Passport?

If your answer is all YES, you will be able to utilize VisaRite's Services. Otherwise, you will have to apply for the passport in person at the Chinese Consulate. If you are not qualified, please call Chinese Consulate directly. Please do not call VisaRite, because we won't be able to help you.

STEP 2 - Put Together Application Materials

(1) Your Expired Chinese Passport

(2) The Passport Application Form (Do not use pencil or pen with red ink.)

(3) Four recent passport-type photographs (color photo only, computer print-out not acceptable)

Must be high quality photos. We suggest you to take photos in Kinko's.

(4) Proof of Lawful Entry into the U.S.

Original US Green Card. Yes, must be original, will be returned once new passport is done.

(5) Authorization Letter

Please download, complete the authorization letter.

(6) Photos with current newspaper as alive proof

Please use digital camera to take 2 photos:

1) One full body photo with current newspaper in hand. Please make sure to show newspaper's cover page with dates clearly in focus. For verification purpose, only New York Times or USA today are acceptable. Other local newspaper will not be accepted. Hint: You may find "USA today" in your local library.
2) One full page photo of the newspaper's cover page with dates clearly in focus.

We suggest you to email us the digital photos to ensure quality. Send these 2 photos to: info@visarite.com

(8) Clean up Your Passport

Prepare your passport by removing plastic cover (if any), passport wallet (if any), staples on all pages.

(9) Consulate and Processing Fee

Forms of Payment: We accept money order, cashiers check, bank check, certified check or cash. Please make check or money order payable to VisaRite Services Inc. Personal check is not acceptable.

Remarks: Return Shipping Fee listed is for return address within the continental U.S. Add $10 per order, If your return address is in Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands or Canada. Passport Name Amendment due to marriage or other reasons can also be processed, additional fee of $45 will apply based on regular service.

STEP 3 - Send the Application Package to VisaRite Service

Send your passport and all required items detailed above by FedEx, UPS, DHL, Express Mail or other traceable courier service to:
